Questions
- It won’t connect
- Check that the scanner’s power light is on and the key is at ON. Turn on Bluetooth and allow DIP to use it. Then connect from the app, not from your phone’s Bluetooth settings.
- Do I need an account?
- No. Reading and clearing codes works without one. A free account saves your car to your DIP wallet.
- Will it work with my car?
- It works with cars that have OBD2, which covers most gas and hybrid cars and light trucks sold in the US since 1996.
- Will it drain my car’s battery?
- Press the power button to turn it off when you’re done, or unplug it.
